Chessington World of Adventures has delighted fans with an exclusive first glimpse of its upcoming PAW Patrol themed area, scheduled to launch in spring 2026. The new attraction, a significant investment in family entertainment, promises to bring the beloved animated series to life in an immersive setting.
First Images Reveal Exciting Details
Freshly released images showcase the development of the World of PAW Patrol, a themed zone spanning 1.4 acres at the Greater London resort. The visuals feature PAW Patrol character Rubble overseeing the site, alongside Sian Hooper, creative director at Merlin Magic Making, who is spearheading the project. The images highlight the final touches being added to the iconic Lookout Tower, including its famous pup tag, which will be a centrepiece of the attraction.
Rides and Immersive Experiences
The £15 million investment will include four themed rides, each inspired by a member of the PAW Patrol pack. One of the key attractions is Chase's Mountain Mission, a beginner-friendly roller coaster that incorporates the life-sized Lookout Tower replica. This ride is designed to make guests feel as if they are stepping into Adventure Bay, the show's fictional setting.
Sian Hooper expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, "Bringing World of PAW Patrol to life is a true labour of love. Our goal has been to capture the magic, energy, and teamwork that millions of families adore from the show. Every ride has been crafted to immerse visitors in the world of PAW Patrol, whether they're skidding with Zuma or soaring with Skye."
Unique Opportunity for Young Fans
In a creative promotional move, Chessington is searching for a preschooler to become the 'PAWject Manager' this spring. This role offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance for a young PAW Patrol enthusiast to test the rides before the official opening and meet their favourite characters. The winner will also receive family tickets to the opening event, a stay in one of the PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms at Chessington, and additional merchandise.
How to Apply
Parents can assist their children in submitting applications online, explaining why they would be perfect for the job. Entries are open until 11.59pm on Wednesday, 4 March 2026. This initiative aims to engage the community and build excitement ahead of the grand opening.
The World of PAW Patrol is set to enhance Chessington's appeal as a top destination for family fun, leveraging the global popularity of the PAW Patrol franchise. With its focus on interactive rides and themed experiences, the attraction is expected to draw visitors from across the UK and beyond, contributing to the local tourism economy.
