Excitement is building for young Paw Patrol fans across the UK as Chessington World of Adventures has shared the first official images of its brand-new, £15 million World of Paw Patrol land. Set to open in spring 2026, this immersive attraction will be the first and only dedicated Paw Patrol theme park area in the country, replacing the former Scorpion Express rollercoaster.
A Pup-Filled Adventure Awaits
Spanning 1.4 acres within the Surrey-based amusement complex, World of Paw Patrol is designed to transport families directly into Adventure Bay. The recently released pictures showcase construction pup Rubble overseeing the project, hinting at the detailed theming and playful atmosphere visitors can expect.
Rides and Attractions for the Whole Family
The land will feature four family-friendly rides, each offering a unique experience inspired by the beloved canine rescue team.
- Chase's Mountain Mission: An entry-level rollercoaster where riders help Chase and Everest save the day on a twisting, turning track.
- Zuma's Hovercraft Adventure: The UK's first 'drifter' ride, simulating sliding and skidding sensations during a high-octane aquatic rescue to Seal Island.
- Skye's Helicopter Heroes: A suspended helicopter ride with spinning rotors and panoramic views of the land.
- Marshall's Firetruck Rescue: A thrilling ride that rolls through the streets of Adventure Bay, requiring passengers to hang on tight.
At the heart of the land will stand a full-scale, real-life replica of the iconic Paw Patrol Lookout Tower, a centrepiece familiar to millions of children worldwide.
Themed Accommodation and Interactive Experiences
Beyond the rides, guests can look forward to pup meet-and-greet sessions, dedicated play areas, and five specially designed Paw Patrol-themed hotel rooms. These unique accommodations will feature beds modelled on the Paw Patroller rescue vehicle, ensuring the adventure continues even after the park closes for the day.
Become the Official 'Paw-ject Manager'
In a unique promotional move, Chessington is offering one lucky young fan the chance to become the official 'Paw-ject Manager'. This prestigious role involves being the first to test all the new rides, meet the characters in their new home, and give a seal of approval before the land opens to the public.
The winner will also receive family tickets for the grand opening event, a night's stay in one of the themed hotel rooms, and a host of other 'pup-tastic' goodies. Parents can submit applications on behalf of their children via the Chessington World of Adventures website, explaining why their little one would be 'paw-fect' for the job. The deadline for entries is 11:59 PM on Wednesday, March 4.
A Labour of Love from the Creative Team
Sian Hooper, Creative Director at Merlin Magic Making and the lead designer behind the new land, expressed her enthusiasm for the project. "Bringing World of Paw Patrol to life is a true labour of love," she said. "From the very first sketches to seeing the iconic Lookout Tower rise above Chessington, our goal has been to capture the magic, energy and teamwork that millions of families know and adore from the show."
Hooper added that every element has been crafted to make guests feel part of the action, whether "skidding and sliding with Zuma or soaring sky-high with Skye." The team eagerly anticipates welcoming families to join the patrol and create lasting memories when the gates open this spring.
Further details about the land's offerings are expected to be announced in the coming months, building anticipation for what promises to be a major new family attraction in the UK's theme park landscape.
