Mango Opens 24th London Store on Kensington High Street
Mango opens new Kensington High Street store

Spanish fashion powerhouse Mango has unveiled a stylish new flagship store on Kensington High Street, marking a significant step in its aggressive London expansion strategy.

A Strategic Move in a Prime Location

The new outlet, which opened its doors in January 2026, becomes the brand's 24th store in the capital. This rapid growth is underscored by the fact that London now generates approximately 40% of Mango's entire UK turnover, following a period of strong sales growth throughout 2025.

Spanning an impressive 6,673 square feet, the Kensington store has created 25 new jobs. It forms part of a wider expansion blitz by the Barcelona-born retailer, which has recently launched sites in Paddington, Broadgate, and Long Acre, expanded its Man and Teen sections at Westfield White City, and tested a dedicated menswear pop-up in Canary Wharf.

Mediterranean Elegance Comes to Kensington

Shoppers can explore the latest men's and women's collections from the brand's Barcelona atelier, encompassing clothing, footwear, and accessories. The offering blends timeless wardrobe essentials with contemporary statement pieces, all reflecting Mango's signature Mediterranean flair.

Inside, the store showcases Mango's "New Med" interior concept. This design philosophy uses a calming palette of natural textures, warm neutrals, and sustainable materials to evoke the sun-drenched aesthetic of southern Europe.

London: A Key Growth Market

The United Kingdom stands as one of Mango's top ten revenue markets globally, with over 80 stores already trading alongside a robust online operation. Fiona Cullen, Mango's International Regional Director for the UK & Ireland, highlighted the capital's importance.

She stated that London presents "one of the most exciting growth opportunities" for the brand, noting that the city's diverse and fashion-conscious customers have responded "extremely positively" to its Mediterranean-inspired style.

This latest opening solidifies Mango's substantial footprint in one of the world's most competitive retail landscapes, demonstrating its continued confidence in the London market and its affluent, style-savvy consumers.
