Goldie Hawn Recalls Alien Encounter: 'They Touched My Face'

Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn was brought to tears as she recalled a profound alien encounter that she says involved extraterrestrial beings touching her face. The Oscar-winning actress, known for films such as Death Becomes Her and The First Wives Club, opened up about the experience during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, sharing new details that left her visibly emotional.

A Lifelong Fascination with the Unknown

Hawn, who is also the mother of actress Kate Hudson, has spoken about the encounter in the past, but this time she added fresh insights. The incident dates back to her late teens when she was working as a dancer in California and living in a small apartment. “I looked up in the sky and I said, ‘I know you’re up there, and I know we’re not alone, and I want to meet you one day,’” she recalled. Just a few months later, while working in West Covina, she claims something extraordinary happened.

The Encounter Unfolds

Feeling suddenly exhausted, Hawn lay down in a colleague’s car. “I heard a high-pitched sound in my ear… and I remember looking at my hand and my body, and I couldn’t move anything. I was completely paralysed,” she said. Looking out the car window, she saw two small figures with triangular-shaped heads, silver in color, observing her. She noted that they seemed to communicate through sound rather than speech.

At the time, Hawn was unsure whether the experience was a dream. It was only years later, after reading accounts of similar alien encounters describing paralysis and high-frequency sounds, that she began to take it seriously. The most significant part came after discussing the incident with an astrophysicist. “I suddenly remembered… they touched my face,” she said, becoming emotional. “It was the most benevolent touch… it was like the finger of God.”

A Family Connection to the Stars

Hawn’s long-time partner, actor Kurt Russell, shares her fascination with the cosmos. In 2017, Russell revealed on The One Show that he was the pilot who famously reported glowing lights in the sky over Phoenix in 1997, one of the most famous UFO sightings in history. Their son Oliver, who was with him at the time, noticed the lights first. Russell described them as “six lights over the airport in absolute uniform in a V shape.” He reported the lights but didn’t think much of it until Goldie watched a documentary on UFO sightings years later.

Goldie Hawn’s encounter remains a deeply personal and moving memory, one that she describes as intensely peaceful and filled with light. The experience, she says, has stayed with her for decades, shaping her perspective on the universe and our place within it.
