A father and his son have successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, to raise money for the humanitarian charity Human Appeal. The duo, who are from London, completed the trek in six days, reaching the summit at an altitude of 5,895 meters.

The pair, identified as 52-year-old Zubair and his 22-year-old son Ayaan, undertook the challenge to support Human Appeal's projects, which include providing clean water, food, and healthcare in some of the world's most deprived regions. Zubair stated, "We wanted to do something that would make a real difference. Climbing Kilimanjaro was a physical test, but it pales in comparison to the struggles faced by those we are trying to help."

The climb has already raised over £10,000, with donations still coming in. The funds will be directed towards Human Appeal's emergency response efforts and long-term development programs.
