Rick Hoffman, the 56-year-old actor best known for playing narcissistic corporate attorney Louis Litt in the hit Netflix series Suits, has stunned fans with his dramatic body transformation. After posting a selfie on Instagram showcasing his slimmed-down physique, many followers claimed they had no idea it was the same person.
Fan reactions to the transformation
Thousands flooded the comments section of Hoffman's Instagram selfie to congratulate him on his hard work. One user, Chet, joked that his character should be renamed to 'Louis Fitt', while @ChandyMusic said he has 'finally become Harvey'. Another user, Rani, added: 'Wow didn't recognize him for a sec,' and Taise commented: 'You look amazing!' Veronica also joked that he has been 'Litt up' following his transformation.
Hoffman's weight loss secrets
When a fan named Jil asked what his secret was for the weight loss, Hoffman replied: 'Intense intermittent fasting and keto diet. No alcohol.' Intermittent fasting involves limiting caloric intake to certain hours of the day to promote weight loss, while a keto diet removes carbohydrates to trigger ketosis, where the body burns stored fat for energy.
Hoffman's transformation was first noticed last month when he shared a photo of himself in a trailer. Wearing a white shirt with grey trousers, the actor had noticeably thicker hair compared to his time on Suits. He captioned the picture: 'Been a min', using the hashtag 'Circling back.'
Support from former co-star
His former Suits co-star Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen, also praised his transformation in the comments, adding a love heart and fire emoji underneath the image. Hoffman has previously been open about his health struggles, including being diagnosed with OCD and suffering from major anxiety. Speaking on the JT Foxx show earlier this year, he said: 'At the age of 23, I had the biggest challenge I ever had. I got struck with major anxiety where I would be woken up and I felt like I was jumping out of my skin 24/7 in this nightmare.'
