Metropolitan Police detectives have launched a murder investigation following the fatal shooting of a 55-year-old man in Brent, north-west London.

Officers were called to West End Close at 9.35pm on Friday evening following reports of a shooting. Emergency services rushed to the scene and provided first aid to the victim. Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the location.
