The video captures an unsuspecting victim sitting at a table, eating his breakfast, when a man enters the cafe, pulls out a knife, and lunges at his chest. The two tussle as the younger victim stands up and punches the suspected knifeman in the face. In a dramatic turn, the cafe owner heroically wrestled the knife away from the attacker, who then sat down in a chair before police arrived.
After the altercation, the victim patted himself down and inspected his gilet, which is said to have helped protect him from serious injury. In recognition of his bravery, the cafe owner announced that the victim will receive free orders for life for helping to protect staff during the terrifying ordeal.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that a man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident. Detective Chief Inspector Mike Sharples from the Bolton District stated, "We currently have a man detained and officers are conducting extensive enquiries as part of a comprehensive investigation."
