Nicola Peltz appears to take swipe at Beckhams with cryptic Father's Day post
Nicola Peltz cryptic post adds fuel to Beckham family feud

Nicola Peltz has added fuel to the ongoing Beckham family feud with a cryptic Instagram post on Father's Day, appearing to take a swipe at her in-laws, David and Victoria Beckham.

Cryptic Quote Raises Eyebrows

On Sunday, June 23, the 27-year-old actress shared a reflective quote on her Instagram story that read: 'I love this sentence: Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach.' The timing of the post, coinciding with Father's Day, has been interpreted as a subtle jab at the Beckhams, as her husband Brooklyn Beckham has been estranged from his family for months.

Shortly after, Nicola posted on her main grid to commemorate six years since her engagement to Brooklyn, writing: 'I feel like I've known you my whole life, you're my best friend and my forever love wrapped in one. I love you with my whole heart. You're the kindest man I've ever met, and I'm so happy I get to do life with you.' Brooklyn responded: 'You're my best friend forever and ever.'

Brooklyn 'Fuming' Over Father's Day Tributes

According to a source cited by The Sun, Brooklyn was left 'fuming' by David and Victoria's Father's Day tributes, which included pictures of him where he was tagged. 'He's asked them to leave him alone, and they just keep posting him. It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they'd leave it and leave him alone,' the source said.

It is understood that Brooklyn, 27, saw the posts through media reports and via people close to him, as he has blocked his family on Instagram. He has previously requested that they only contact him through lawyers.

Family Rift Deepens

Brooklyn publicly acknowledged the rift in his family in January with a bombshell statement taking aim at his parents. Since then, he has remained largely silent on the subject. Last week, he sparked a frenzy by starring in a DoorDash advert that made a clear nod to the feud, calling it a 'long story' as to why he wasn't at the FIFA World Cup in person. The ad reportedly earned him an 'eye-watering' amount of money, but left his family 'heartbroken.'

In response, his brother Cruz seemed to take a cheeky swipe at him by paying homage to their father's iconic '7' England shirt. Brooklyn now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, just a stone's throw from where David recently received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, though Brooklyn reportedly went to New York while his family was in town.
