Shocking new details have emerged about a brutal triple stabbing in a South London park that left a dog walker dead and two others with life-threatening injuries.
The Metropolitan Police have released the first image of an Afghan national charged in connection with the horrific attack that unfolded in Addington Hills, Croydon, on Tuesday evening.
Victim Identified as Local Dog Walker
Authorities have confirmed the deceased victim was a local resident walking his dog through the popular green space when the violent confrontation occurred. The two surviving victims, both men in their 30s, remain in critical condition at major trauma centres across London.
Suspect Faces Multiple Charges
The accused, whose identity has been protected pending formal identification procedures, appeared before magistrates yesterday facing charges of murder and two counts of attempted murder. Police sources indicate the suspect had recently arrived in the UK from Afghanistan.
