Detectives from the Metropolitan Police have issued a fresh appeal, releasing new images of a man they urgently need to trace in connection with the murder of a teenager in North London.
Appeal for Key Witness After Fatal Attack
The investigation relates to the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Adam Henry in Islington. Officers were called to reports of an attack on Westbourne Road at around 1pm on Tuesday, 9 December 2025.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, Adam was treated for his stab wounds but later died in hospital. His family have described their loss as "unthinkable".
Man Charged and New Suspect Sought
On Monday, 15 December, the force confirmed that 20-year-old Tsidi Winion of Handyside Street, Camden, had been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Police are now appealing for the public's help to locate 22-year-old Abdel Derdour, who they need to speak to urgently in connection with the incident. He is believed to have made off towards Caledonian Road following the stabbing.
Derdour is described as being approximately 5ft 8ins tall, of mixed heritage, with a slim build. He was most recently seen with a moustache and facial hair. Police intelligence suggests he frequents the Holborn and surrounding areas.
A Family's Heartbreaking Tribute
In a previous statement, Adam's family paid a moving tribute to their "loving son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend". They said the family would "never recover from the loss and not having him in our lives".
"He had many interests and was always there with a smile and cheeky sense of humour," they said. "He was good-natured and loyal."
Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart, who leads policing in Islington, urged anyone with information to come forward. "Even the smallest detail could be the breakthrough our detectives urgently need," he stated.
