The London Marathon 2026 is set to take place on Sunday, April 26, with more than 50,000 runners covering 26.2 miles across the capital. The route begins in Greenwich and concludes at The Mall. Approximately 800,000 supporters are anticipated to line the streets, cheering on participants.
Celebrity Participants and Weather
Notable figures such as Tony Adams and Aaron Ramsey will join the thousands of runners. The Met Office forecasts sunny intervals and a temperature of 18°C, so spectators are advised to bring plenty of water.
Tracking and Coverage
Supporters can use the official London Marathon app to track live progress of participants. The BBC will provide extensive coverage, starting at 8:30 a.m. on BBC One and moving to BBC Two at 2:00 p.m.
