According to a fresh report from Talksport, Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has emerged as a strong candidate. Lampard has led Coventry to the top of the Championship table, with an eight-point lead, positioning them well for promotion to the Premier League. Pundit David Prutton praised Lampard, saying, "Frank Lampard is a tremendously ambitious manager. He's a driven individual at a club that is run by tremendously driven people." However, it remains uncertain whether Lampard would depart Coventry if they achieve promotion, as such moves are rare post-promotion.
Additionally, Rayo Vallecano boss Iñigo Pérez is also being considered. Pérez has demonstrated an ability to stabilise a club with limited resources, currently guiding Rayo to 13th place in LaLiga.
