Marc Pubill has revealed that he has encouraged Marc Cucurella to leave Chelsea and join him at Atletico Madrid during the summer transfer window. Cucurella has spent four seasons with the Blues since his £63 million move from Brighton in 2022, which made him the most expensive left-back in football history. During his time at Stamford Bridge, he has made 163 appearances in all competitions, overcoming a difficult debut season to help Chelsea win the Europa Conference League and the Club World Cup.
