Initially, Todd was overly critical of Jacob, claiming it was because she recognized his potential. However, she soon sought every opportunity to undermine him and erode his confidence. After a few weeks, she falsely accused him of stalking her, forcing him to visit HR. Clearly, the situation is far from resolved.
Todd's Manipulative Move
Having moved to the village following a bitter divorce, Todd has been attempting to turn the locals against Jacob. Although Jacob is now preoccupied with baby Leyla, Todd remains relentless. She has purposefully integrated herself into village life, befriending Vanessa and Manpreet. During a girls' night at the pub, Mary suggests a darts match, pairing Vanessa and Todd on the same team.
Todd seizes the opportunity to flirt with Vanessa, not for romance but for manipulation. She uses the moment to plant negative ideas about Jacob, aiming to undermine him further. Todd is determined to paint a terrible picture of the aspiring doctor to prevent his progress. Additionally, she holds a secret about Jacob that she will likely use to worsen his situation.
If Vanessa reciprocates the flirting, it could mean Todd's presence in the village is permanent. Will the sinister doctor succeed in ruining Jacob's life?
