A4 Cranford Closed Near Heathrow: Forensics Tents Up

Police have sealed off a section of the A4 near Heathrow Airport following an incident overnight on June 30. Bath Road, in Cranford, is currently shut to traffic between Great South West Road and The Parkway, causing queues towards the A30.

Cordon and Forensics Tents at Scene

A cordon has been in place since shortly after midnight, according to road tracker Inrix. Multiple forensics tents have been erected, and an N9 bus terminating at Heathrow Terminal 5 is visible behind the blue-and-white tape. Photos taken in the last hour show police cars and officers guarding the scene.

Bus Diversions and Ongoing Investigation

Transport for London has confirmed three bus routes are being diverted away from the area. The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information, but the nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
