Emmerdale star Pippa Fulton exits as Kylie, co-star begs return

Emmerdale star Pippa Fulton has exited the ITV soap after filming her final scenes as Kylie, leaving co-star Michael Parr publicly begging for her return. The actress took to social media to share a series of behind-the-scenes photos and heartfelt messages to her castmates, acknowledging the end of her storyline.

Kylie's storyline and exit

Kylie arrived in the village with a single goal: to reclaim what she was owed. This led to a terrifying kidnapping plot targeting Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), who was held for ransom. While Lewis initially suspected Ross Barton (Michael Parr) was behind the ordeal, the true culprit was Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill), who had pawned a diamond stolen from Kylie. Unbeknownst to Lewis, he is Kev's son, making him a prime target. The scheme successfully pressured Kev, but Fulton has now filmed her final scenes, marking the end of Kylie's run.

Fulton's tribute to co-stars

In an Instagram post, Fulton wrote a sweet message to each co-star. To Bradley Riches, she said: 'Bradley, you were like an old friend after being in your presence for an hour, and I felt like we'd been friends in another life! What a dream and an inspiration you are! And you had this old bird Tick Tocking!! To be continued haha….' To Michael Parr, she added: 'Mike, you are the nicest human and had me on a knife edge trying not to laugh right before a take. Thank you for always being so lovely.' And to Chris Coghill, she said: 'What an absolute honour to play along side you, you made my lifelong hardcore Emmerdale mad mum so happy when she received a video message from you & Mike… what ledges.'

Praying they get you back,' according to the actress's post. Fans also echoed the sentiment, with one commenting: 'More of you in Emmerdale please.' Another said: 'Pippa and Bradley what brilliant acting I would like to see more of you both,' while a third added: 'They need to keep her in it.'

Fulton's history with Emmerdale and other roles

This is not Fulton's first stint on Emmerdale; she previously appeared as a Take a Vow client. In 2014, she also worked alongside Michael Parr as a character who shared a steamy night with Ross. Additionally, Fulton has appeared in Coronation Street and made her screen debut in the first series of Fame Academy in 2002.
