US Nuclear Official Suspended for Leaking Secrets to Undercover Journalist
Nuclear Official Suspended for Leaking Secrets

A US nuclear official has been suspended after allegedly leaking sensitive military information to a woman who turned out to be an undercover journalist. The incident, captured on video by conservative activist James O'Keefe, has become the latest scandal to rock the Trump administration.

Details of the Leak

The footage shows Andrew Hugg, a nuclear official, sitting at a table with an unknown woman. He asks her, 'You're not a spy, right?' The journalist laughs and says no, to which Hugg replies, 'Your eyes have mesmerised me so much. So I almost gotta tell you.. That's why the easiest way to get intelligence is to just send a pretty girl to talk to the guy.'

After exchanging pleasantries, Hugg is accused of disclosing details about US military actions in Iran, including the use of nerve agents. He also mentioned strikes in Iran that resulted in the deaths of children, which he described as 'collateral damage'.

Pentagon Response

Following the release of the footage, reports emerged that Hugg was escorted out of the Pentagon. Army spokesperson Cynthia O Smith confirmed, 'We have placed Mr Hugg on administrative leave while we conduct a thorough investigation into this matter.'

Other Scandals

This is not the only controversy within the Trump administration. Earlier, counterterrorism official Julia Varvaro, 29, was placed on administrative leave after a 'sugar daddy' scandal. A man identified as Robert B filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security, claiming Varvaro had a profile on the sugar daddy website 'Seeking' under the name 'Alessia'. Robert told the Daily Mail he spent $40,000 on Varvaro after meeting her on Hinge and dating for a few months, including trips to Aruba, Italy, San Diego, and South Carolina. Varvaro denied any wrongdoing, stating, 'I didn't know it was bad to go on vacation with your boyfriend. We were together in an exclusive relationship. We went on vacation. I don't know what the problem is with that.'

Additionally, Byron Noem, husband of former Republican homeland security secretary Kristi Noem, allegedly engaged in online 'bimbofication' fetish content, posting photos online dressed in women's clothing.

These incidents highlight ongoing issues within the administration, raising questions about security and ethical conduct among top officials.
