Twelve agonising years have passed since Allan Bryant Jr vanished without trace after a night out in Glenrothes, and his father has now voiced his devastating conviction that his son was murdered.
Allan Bryant Sr, who has tirelessly campaigned for answers since November 2013, told Sky News he believes someone in the local community holds the crucial information that could finally bring closure to his family's torment.
The Night That Changed Everything
The 23-year-old was last seen leaving Styx Nightclub in Glenrothes in the early hours of November 3rd, 2013. Despite one of Fife's most extensive missing person investigations and numerous public appeals, no trace of the young man has ever been found.
"I'm 100% convinced my son's not coming back," Mr Bryant stated, his voice heavy with emotion. "I believe Allan was murdered that night."
A Father's Unwavering Quest for Truth
The heartbroken father described the past decade as "absolute torture" for his family, who have endured Christmas celebrations, birthdays and anniversaries without their loved one.
Police Scotland confirmed the case remains an active investigation, with detectives following over 1,000 lines of enquiry and taking more than 300 statements. A dedicated team continues to work on the baffling disappearance.

Mr Bryant expressed his frustration that crucial information may be circulating within the local community but hasn't reached authorities. "Somebody knows something," he insisted. "They're maybe too scared to come forward, but they need to search their conscience."
