Costa Del Croydon, the free rooftop beach on top of the Centrale shopping centre car park in Croydon, returns for its third summer from August 7 to August 31, 2026. The pop-up has attracted over 60,000 visitors in the past two years and offers a giant sandpit, splash zone, games, fairground rides, street food, and lounging areas.
New adults-only Thursday nights
For the first time, the rooftop will host weekly adults-only events every Thursday from 5pm to 8pm, featuring themed nights, drag shows, DJs, live entertainment, and cocktails. The sessions are free but require pre-booking, which opens on July 31. Walk-ins are subject to availability.
Opening times and location
The rooftop is open daily with two sessions: 11:30am–3pm and 3:30pm–7pm. It is a three-minute walk from West Croydon Station at Centrale Shopping Centre, 30 Tamworth Road, Croydon CR0 1XT. Free tickets can be booked online from July 31.
Family-friendly activities
Daytime attractions include face painting, arts and crafts, dance workshops, giant chess, Hook A Duck, and an interactive splash zone. Paid extras include go-karting and bungee trampolines. The site also hosts 'Community Tuesdays' in partnership with Croydon Voluntary Action, showcasing local performers and groups.
