Biscoff Ice Cream Sandwiches Launch in UK, Fans Call Them 'On a Different Level'
New Biscoff Ice Cream Sandwiches Launch in UK Stores

Devotees of the beloved Lotus Biscoff biscuit have been given an early 2026 treat with the launch of a brand new, indulgent product now hitting supermarket shelves.

A Sweet Start to the Year

The cult biscuit brand, often hailed by fans as the 'best ever', has unveiled Biscoff Ice Cream Sandwiches. This follows a successful year of innovation in 2025, which saw the launch of a Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff chocolate block, a special Advent calendar, and Biscoff-filled Easter eggs arriving in November.

Eagle-eyed shoppers first spotted the new frozen dessert at Iceland stores and online from January 3, 2026. The product consists of a thick block of Biscoff-flavoured ice cream, complete with crunchy pieces of the signature biscuit, sandwiched between two original Lotus Biscoff biscuits.

Initial Reactions and Rave Reviews

Priced at £4 for a pack of four individually wrapped ice creams, the product has also been seen at Co-op and The Food Warehouse. Early buyers have flooded social media with enthusiastic praise.

On the New Foods UK Instagram page, Falcom Scott declared them 'The most delicious sandwiches'. Meanwhile, on Iceland's Facebook, Georgina Charville described them as 'unreal', and Wendy Coull said they were 'on a different level altogether'.

Food content creator Shivani Khosla awarded a perfect 10/10 on TikTok, noting the 'super fluffy and soft' ice cream with a distinct caramel flavour. Even the typically hard-to-please online reviewer John's Snack Reviews gave the product a 9/10, stating on Instagram that the biscuits had a 'softer crunch' and it was 'pure Biscoff in every bite!!'

A High Bar to Clear

This glowing reception is not always guaranteed from the passionate Biscoff fanbase. The previously launched Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff block, for instance, received mixed reviews after significant hype.

Some consumers felt it fell flat, with comments on Facebook noting a lack of the distinctive Biscoff taste. Katie Griffin wrote, 'Tried it today... can’t taste the Biscoff much though,' a sentiment echoed by others like Sam Oakley and Steph Penny, who were left disappointed.

The innovation pipeline for Biscoff shows no sign of slowing down. A spokesperson for Mondelēz International confirmed a partnership with Lotus Bakeries to develop more co-branded chocolate products in Europe, aiming to 'surprise and delight consumers' with new formats currently in early development.
