Danny Jones' wife, Georgia, has implemented a strict rule following the 'incredibly difficult' aftermath of his kiss with Maura Higgins at the 2025 Brit Awards after-party. The incident, which occurred during the Universal Music event, involved a brief drunken kiss at 3am between the I'm A Celebrity campmates. A year later, the pair have successfully avoided each other, with Maura focusing on the US and Danny touring with McFly.
Georgia's New Boundary
According to a source speaking to The Sun, Danny and Georgia are now in a 'really good place,' but Georgia has set boundaries to prevent future issues. The former Miss England now insists on accompanying Danny on nights out. 'It was incredibly difficult for Georgia, so she's had to put some boundaries in place,' the source revealed.
Reports initially suggested Georgia moved out of the family home following the scandal, and Danny skipped the Baftas last May to avoid a potential encounter with Maura. The Love Island star had recently split from TOWIE's Pete Wicks on Valentine's Day before the kiss occurred.
Rebuilding Trust
Despite the turmoil, Danny and Georgia have worked on their relationship. They recently enjoyed a sunny birthday beach holiday with family and bandmate Dougie Poynter. Since returning, they have been seen partying together in London, reminiscent of their earlier days. 'Last week, they enjoyed a wild night at Freedom bar in Soho and it was like the old days. They were drinking and having fun and life felt really good again,' the source added. 'Danny was on top form and the club went wild when a McFly song came on – they were all loving it.'
The couple has not publicly addressed the fallout, but Georgia shared on Instagram that their home is undergoing renovations. She posted a video of herself making cereal with their eight-year-old son Cooper while sitting on the floor in pajamas, having a 'picnic' style breakfast.
Second Chance
Last March, The Sun reported that Georgia had returned home after a break with friends and was giving Danny a 'second chance.' 'The break has done Georgia a world of good,' a source said. 'Being out of the house and with her friend Rose Mahon was what she needed to clear her head. Her relationship with Danny was pushed to breaking point, and they are still trying to work out what they want. Danny has made it clear he will do anything to make it work.'
Meanwhile, Maura has moved on to the US, appearing in The Traitors US alongside Monet X Change, Rob Rausch, and Donna Kelce.
