A woman has shared her shocking experience of a date urinating in the shower while she was standing in it, an incident that destroyed her attraction and ultimately ended their two-month relationship. The 31-year-old British man, identified only as George, announced he was going to pee before doing so, ignoring her visible discomfort.
The shower incident
The couple had been seeing each other exclusively for two months after meeting on Bumble. They had taken things slowly, enjoying dates at the cinema, plays, museums, ice skating, and raves before finally having sex, which she described as better than anticipated. The fourth time she stayed over, they had sex again, and he asked her to shower with him. She agreed, and they were scrubbing each other's backs when George smirked and declared he was going to urinate.
She initially thought he was joking, but he proceeded to urinate in the bathtub with her inside. She watched in horror as his urine drained into the tub. When she asked what that was, he did not respond, and they finished the shower as if nothing had happened.
Impact on attraction
The woman, who works in marketing and had moved to the Middle East, said that while a bit of urine was not the main issue, the fact that he continued despite her discomfort was deeply troubling. She attempted to continue the relationship for a few more weeks, convincing herself she was overreacting, but could not bring herself to have sex with him again. Her attraction plummeted.
Luckily, his frequent work travel meant they saw little of each other. About a month later, he cancelled a restaurant date at the last minute without concern, leading to a heated phone argument. She hung up, and neither reached out again.
Reflections and moving on
She expressed no regrets about the breakup, noting that her feelings had already faded. She concluded that good sex is replaceable, but unexpected urination is not something she wants to deal with again. She also stated it will be a while before she showers with anyone else.
