Emmerdale Trial: Bear Faces Justice for Ray's Death Amid Slavery Testimony
Emmerdale Trial: Bear in Court for Ray's Murder

Ray Walters and Celia Daniels arrived in Emmerdale in 2025, bringing misery to many residents. The mother-son duo ran a criminal farm operation, manipulating young people into drug dealing, sex work, trafficking, and slavery. Bear Wolf was one of their victims, found when he felt abandoned by his family. He lived in a dark attic with other adults, brainwashed into believing their actions were normal.

Earlier this year, Bear escaped and returned to the village. At Tenants, he found Ray threatening to kill Paddy Kirk. Traumatized, Bear grabbed Ray and choked him to death. Paddy and Dylan covered up the murder to protect Bear, but DS Walsh's investigation made it impossible to hide. Now, the trio faces court.

The Trial Begins

Bear is questioned about murdering Ray, the cover-up, and being a victim of modern slavery. Paddy faces charges for perverting justice, as does Dylan, who also must account for drug dealing forced by Ray and Celia. April Windsor, another victim, is summoned to testify. The prosecution and defense argue before the judge, jury, and spectators.

Bear's Testimony

Bear feels overwhelmed reliving Ray's death and his farm ordeal. April testifies but struggles under cross-examination, leaving her devastated. Dylan testifies for the defense, recounting how Bear saved his and Paddy's lives. Fellow victim Simo takes the stand, causing Bear to spiral. After court adjourns, solicitor Zara explains that Bear must testify tomorrow.

Paddy and family arrive for Bear's testimony, which could make or break the case. Will Bear's words free them or send them to prison?
