Katie Price has issued an urgent plea for the safe return of her missing Sphynx cat Doris, just days after another one of her pets reportedly died. The 48-year-old former glamour model, currently in Dubai after being reunited with her husband Lee Andrews, took to Instagram Stories to appeal for help.
Cat goes missing while Price is abroad
Price explained that she flew to Dubai on Wednesday, and her cats were at home on Tuesday night. Two of her Sphynx cats, Eilleen and Doris, disappeared earlier that day. Eilleen later returned home of her own accord, but Doris remains missing. Price wrote: 'I live in a private area and my cats don't just disappear. Whoever has them return them. They are my babies.' She asked anyone in the area to return Doris to Arun Vets in Storrington if found.
Several hours later, Price shared a video of Eilleen drinking water, noting she 'walked through the door' amid the UK heatwave. As of the latest update, Doris was still missing.
History of pet tragedies
This incident follows a claim by Lee Andrews that one of Price's eight Sphynx cats had died. During a Cameo video, he said: 'She's got five Sphynxes actually. One has just passed away. Sorry, eight Sphynxes, five dogs. Eight Sphynxes, now seven, one passed away.' Price herself has not confirmed the loss.
Price's history with pets is marked by multiple fatalities. Since 2017, at least eight animals have died in her care, including horses, dogs, a chameleon, and a kitten. In 2020, over 37,000 people signed a petition calling for her to be banned from owning pets, and a fresh petition was created in 2025. Peta even offered £5,000 in exchange for a legally binding agreement to never acquire another animal.
In response to Peta's open letter, Price's representative told MailOnline: 'Kate has asked PETA many times to have a conversation with her directly, but instead they continue to play the narrative out in the media. If they want to have a direct conversation with Kate they can get in touch.'
Price continues social media activity
Despite the missing cat, Price returned to her usual posting, promoting CBD oil and sharing a photo of her and Lee's hands, calling him 'the best husband'. She wrote: 'Completes me in every f**ked up way. Met my perfect match and nothing will defy us!' She also posted a picture of her daughter Princess. Metro has reached out to Price's team for comment.
